Sideman & Bancroft’s Kelly McCarthy will be speaking at this year’s International Trademark Association (INTA) 2024 Leadership Meeting. Kelly McCarthy will join Yixian Chen, Deirdre Clarke, Blanca Rebeca Mejia, and Laura Collada on the panel “Leadership Legacy: Connecting the Women Leaders of Today for Tomorrow” taking place on Thursday November 14th at 12:00 PM. The discussion will explore best practices for navigating challenges, achieving work-life integration, and understanding what new generations seek in their careers. The panel will also highlight how legacy leaders can help pave the way for the next generation of women in leadership.
INTA’s annual Leadership Meeting is an invitation-only event for Board members and members who volunteer on committees and project teams. This year’s meeting will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana from Tuesday November 12th to Friday November 15th.
Ms. McCarthy has been an active member of the International Trademark Mark Association, previously serving as the char of the Academic Committee and now sitting on the Brands and Innovation Committee. Further, she is a member of the Research Advisory Council and most recently was a part of the project team for INTA’s Study on Gender Diversity in the Intellectual Property Profession, “Shattering Systemic Barriers: How to Advance Gender Diversity in the Intellectual Property Profession.”
