On September 25th – 27th, the 16th International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference took place in Oslo, Norway. Co-hosted by The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and the Norwegian Police Service in partnership with the UL Standards & Engagement, the conference centers around current trends and risks associated with transnational Intellectual Property (IP) crime and illicit trade.
Sideman & Bancroft IP Attorney, Richard Nelson, was a panelist on the panel, “Applications for Emerging Technologies and Learning Methodologies”. Nelson states, “It was great to collaborate with the panelists on this timely topic, and to exchange ideas and best practices with law enforcement and proactive companies for two days in Oslo. Looking forward to next year’s conference in Curacao.”
