Robert Cross concentrates his practice on real estate and business transactions, business bankruptcy and civil litigation. His transactional practice focuses on commercial real estate leasing and sales, and consultation with privately-owned business entities involving formation, contracting and licensing. The business bankruptcy practice includes representation of creditors and trustees, and advising both creditors and debtors concerning the resolution of troubled financial situations.
Mr. Cross has over 30 years’ experience in the litigation of business disputes, with special focus on matters involving real estate, distribution contracts, trade secrets and intellectual property, shareholder rights, liabilities of officers, directors and partners, creditor rights, lender liability, bankruptcy issues, and unfair competition. He has extensive experience handling jury trials, court trials and commercial arbitrations, as well as resolving matters through motion practice and mediation.
Mr. Cross’ clients include substantial domestic and foreign corporations, as well as smaller firms, business principals and professionals.
Mr. Cross is active in various nonprofit organizations and on boards of directors, including serving as an officer of the Lawyers’ Club of San Francisco. He also serves as a Judge Pro Tem and arbitrator for the San Francisco Superior Court, and as an arbitrator for the Attorney Fee Dispute Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
