Description of Practice

Amanda Mitchell specializes in complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. Ms. Mitchell has experience in general commercial matters, real estate litigation, antitrust counseling and litigation, Department of Justice investigations and consumer product safety counseling.

Prior to joining Sideman & Bancroft LLP, Ms. Mitchell was a litigation associate at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP in San Francisco where she concentrated on complex commercial litigation. While in law school, Ms. Mitchell served as the Symposium Editor for the California Law Review and authored "Tamiflu, The Takings Clause, and Compulsory Licenses: An Exploration of the Government's Options for Accessing Medical Patents," 95 Cal. L. Rev. 535 (2007).

Professional Involvement

Ms. Mitchell is a member of the Litigation and Antitrust sections of the State Bar of California and is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
